The Dimensions process utilizes different methods of producing dimensional designs in Lamontage material. Computerized water jets create intricate cut-out designs in Lamontage rugs, wall coverings, placemats and coasters. Die cutting is used as a more economical way of producing less complicated cut-out designs. Amorphous cut-outs can be formed organically during the Lamontage process, and are featured in our Kobu collection of materials. The Dimensions process also cuts rugs and placemats into different shapes, such as ovals, circles, flowers and butterflies. With traditional, woven textiles these methods are not possible but because Lamontage material does not unravel or fray, these unique design dimensions are achievable.
